It’s a Pleasure to Meet You

Hi there! My name is Kris, and I am a Wine Business Owner and Wine Brand Consultant, who specializes in making wine brands profitable.

Selling wine direct to the consumer isn’t about closing a sale, its about starting a conversation.

The best way to start a conversation with your ideal wine consumer is by building a wine brand that people want to engage with through relationships and communities.

When we get this right, sales follow, more importantly relationships follow that leads to more sales by:

  1. Connecting with more potential ideal consumers of your product by increasing your reach

  2. Converting existing audiences into consumers

  3. Increasing the average sale of current consumers

  4. Turning current consumers into raving fans that sell your wine for you

  5. Creating a profitable, sustainable and growing wine club membership program

I’ve used this approach to wine branding so far to help brands like Bodega Garzon down in Uruguay, Jessie’s Grove Winery in Lodi, and Lepe Cellars in Monterey.

My Story

Wine is something that I have naturally gravitated towards over time. The first wine I tried was a bottle of 1993 Dom Perignon Champagne that my parents received as a gift and decided to open at my high school graduation, and let me have a taste (just a sip!) of. I’ve desired to learn more about wine ever since.

What I love about the wine industry is the people. They are some of the most hospitable, gracious, and generous people you will ever meet. That’s how I knew that it was an industry I wanted to work in, because why would you want to work with people that aren’t fun to be around?

After taking a trip to Sonoma in 2019, I knew this where I wanted to put my time and effort, into helping wineries and wine brands sell more wine. After COVID19 happened, I began my own virtual happy hour and wine tasting every week, that to date has had several hundred attendees, has sold several thousands of dollars of wine, and more importantly has connected wine brands with outside audiences and helped my audience learn more about wine.
